Amazing support and guidance from a great local bike shop. John is running the best example of a local trusted advisor I've had in ~15 years cycling in Sydney. Also went out of his way to help when I broke my wheel a day before heading for an out of town bike trip. 6*

I highly recommend this shop for bike repair (a good variety), both for great customer service and pricing. I have been getting my e-bike fix here (to do food delivery) at least 6-7 times for the last 1 year and not let down once. The owner, Mr. John is knowledgeable, kind, generous, and thoughtful. I'm always appreciative by the fact that not he only helps fix my bike and suggesting options that are best for my situation, but he is always willing to explain in detail when I ask about the problems and teaches me extra so that I could take care of the bike myself. Absolutely fantastic and legit business!

So glad I changed mechanics, and I would highly recommend John. Hes very knowledgeable, honest (suggested a cheaper service since my bike was in good condition) and a whizz with bikes.I had my Trek Madone SL6 serviced by John and it is riding super smooth and as if good as new. I was actually incredibly surprised when I went for a ride this morning.Other mechanics have often told me that my bike is quite fiddly and hard to work with, and I’ve often had my bike come back with the rear brake slightly touching the rim and the drive train a bit creaky on certain gears. I always thought that this was simply unavoidable given poor design by Trek.Since having it serviced by John I’ve noticed that none of these issues exist anymore, and the bike feels incredibly stable, smooth and powerful.This will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future.

Bought my bike from 99 Bikes and had planned on getting it serviced there but the wait time was 2 weeks. After a google search, found Bike Ride Repair right near my work, bonus! On top of that, their service charges were much cheaper than 99 Bikes and the level of service was outstanding! John takes the time to explain what needs doing upfront, his POS computer software is excellent, you can receive both a hardcopy and softcopy of the work order, showing what needs doing and the price. This is a nice touch because at some places all you get is a deli ticket number. Finally, because the work on my bike was a relatively quick fix, it was done same day! Certainly beats waiting 2 weeks before the bike can even be looked at! Many thanks to John and the team. Would definitely recommend to others!

Logbook Servicing

Scheduled maintenance and service intervals not only keep our bikes riding smooth but makes sure they last. Our inhouse developed logbook combines the largest manufactures information into an easy to follow and track document, giving you peace of mind and freedom to enjoy the ride. We offer our logbook service to all levels of service and each customer.

MTB Coaching

With the fun of MTB riding and the freedom from road traffic no wonder the sport is booming in popularity. But no hiding the sport can be hard. Just Like other mountain sports eg skiing, lessons can give you a huge head start into the skill. It is the best upgrade you can buy. Our coaches are all PMBIA certified and can help beginners to advanced get more from their riding.

More bikes are coming with better and more advanced suspension products. A proper suspension set up can mean difference between smooth and in control or wild and unstable.
