Two 7 Chain Checker and Bolt Gauge

Precisely machined chain checker easily identifies chain wear levels at 3 key wear points. This chain checker has 3 steps machined to indicate chain wear at 0.5mm, 0.75mm and 1.0mm stretch. Also comes with handy bolt diameter and length gauge to easily identify bolt specifications.

Directions –

Put tool hook into the open link and rest against the chain roller. if the notched end does not lower into the opposite chain roller then no wear is present. If 1 notch lowers into the opposite chain roller then 0.5mm wear is present (12 speed chain replacement point) If 2 notches lower into the opposite chain roller then 0.75mm wear is present (11-8 speed chain replacement point) If 3 notches lower into the opposite chain roller then 1.0mm of chain wear is present and all chains are worn and possibly cassettes past this point.
